SR-130 is a one-component, non-flowing, neutral RTV cure silicone sealant. The one part silicone sealant can bond well with various substrates, such as transportation vehicles, boats, airplanes, metals, glass, ceramics and electronic equipment...etc without necessary primer. It is also specifically designed for making form in place or cure in place sealing gaskets.
Before assembly, dispense SR-130 onto metal or plastic components to create a form in place gasket, which is cured at room temperature. Because it is poured into the components in a liquid form, it can accurately fit the shape of the components, no matter whether the housing is perfect or not. This results in a reliable seal and a durable finished product. FIP gaskets made of SR-130 are a cost-effective, accurate and simple sealant solution, especially when very small, narrow or complex gaskets are required.
