About FONG YONG CHEMICAL CO., LTD.

Founded in 1983, Fong Yong Chemical Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based manufacturer specializing in resin and adhesive systems for industrial, functional, and specialty applications. With more than four decades of manufacturing experience, we support global customers with materials designed for reliability, consistency, and controlled processing performance.

Our manufacturing operations are located in New Taipei City, Taiwan, supported by two dedicated production facilities. One facility focuses exclusively on epoxy systems, while the other is dedicated to silicone, polyurethane (PU), UV-curing, and other adhesive materials. This material-focused manufacturing structure allows for stable process control, consistent quality management, and optimized production environments across different resin technologies.

Fong Yong operates under a company-wide IATF 16949:2016 certified quality management system, covering the design and manufacture of resins and adhesives, and is also ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. In addition, selected products are supported by UL recognition, and RoHS / REACH compliance is provided at the product level, depending on application and regulatory requirements.

Engineering-Driven Formulation and Manufacturing

Our internal R&D and laboratory capabilities support customized formulation development based on application-specific requirements. Development activities are guided by three core principles:

- Application-driven material design

- Long-term reliability considerations

- Compatibility with customer production processes

Rather than maintaining off-the-shelf inventory, our materials are supplied on a made-to-order basis, allowing formulation flexibility, batch-level control, and alignment with defined technical specifications.

Applications and Markets

Fong Yong resin and adhesive systems are applied across a broad range of industrial, functional, and decorative applications, including:

- Potting, casting, sealing, coating and encapsulation for electronic and electrical assemblies

- Adhesive bonding for structural and non-structural applications

- Thermal management materials for heat dissipation requirements

- Doming and protective coatings for surface protection and visual enhancement

- Decorative casting and clear encapsulation, such as resin jewelry, artistic objects, and embedded designs

- Floor coatings and surface finishing systems where durability, appearance, and process control are required

We support customers in automotive, electronics, an-d industrial control sectors, including applications related to EV systems and power electronics. In addition, selected formulations are supplied for decorative, architectural, and specialty applications, where optical clarity, surface finish, and processing behavior are critical considerations.
