E-768/H-768 is a two-component, flexible, room temperature curing epoxy resin and curing agent. It is specially designed for the requirements of low temperature operation.
Generally ,epoxy resins become less flexible at lower temperatures. When epoxy resin becomes less flexible, it also becomes more brittle and more sensitive to, for example, shock and vibration. More worse, it might even crack. Another negative effect of low temperature may be a decrease in the adhesion between epoxy resin and the substrates. Debonding may even occur. E-768/H-768 remains flexible at low temperatures without losing adhesion or strength. When the bonded object will be affected by temperature changes, where the thermal expansion between the two substrates is different, the use of this flexible adhesive is also advantageous.
