Electrical silicone rubber sealant
SR-8501 is a high performance, fast curing silicone sealant. Its low viscosity allows easy flowing into objects to be bonded or caulked for a variety of solutions in electrical, electronic and energy applications. This one-part adhesive cures using atmospheric moisture. It is available ready-to-use and requires no mixing equipment or oven. Assembled parts can simply be placed in normal room conditions and wait for curing to complete. It is often used to bond dissimilar materials with different thermal expansion coefficients and join components, or to seal openings in modules to exclude dust, water or other contaminants. It is a tough and resilient sealant with primerless adhesion to most metals, painted surfaces and plastics. It withstands harsh environments such as chemicals, ozone, moisture, and weathering.
