STG-4W is a non-curing, 4 Watt/mK thermal interface material (TIM). This thermal grease is inserted between a heating device (such as an CPU) and a heat sink (such as a radiator) to transfer more waste heat from the heat source to the cooler to keep the device running cool. The thermal grease has good stability, making it easy to apply on all surfaces and easy to clean. The TIM exhibits excellent electrical properties and is stable to temperature changes. It is suitable for insulation applications. The thermal conductive paste for heat sink has good anti-ozone and anti-ultraviolet capabilities. Mainly used in CPU and high-power transistors and high heating elements, semiconductors and heat sinks, power resistors, temperature regulators, thermoelectric coolers.

Does thermal paste need curing time? | there is no curing time. ... Thermal paste is not normally an adhesive so there is no such thing as a curing time for it. |

If your system is overheating and at least a year old, after cleaning out the fans and internal components, you should consider reapplying the CPU's thermal paste. |
